SSAFA Durham supplies breakfast and a doorstep chat to Armed Forces Community in Isolation 11 December 2020 SSAFA Wear Valley & Teesdale Division, part of County Durham Branch completed ‘Operation SSAFA Break 3’ on Friday 30 November, delivering 69 bacon butties out to beneficiaries and veterans who are in isolation or have been shielding since lockdown £1,000 cheque given to SSAFA Durham! 11 December 2020 A Cheque of £1,000 was donated to the Mayor of Bishop Auckland’s chosen Charity: The Mayor, Councillor Joy Allen, is the patron of SSAFA Durham and presented the cheque to the Wear Valley Division of SSAFA Durham branch.
