On Saturday 8th June, the Plymouth Branch of SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity held its annual fundraising ball
Congratulations and thanks to the two veterans behind the Driving Force for SSAFA event, whose work has been recognised with one of SSAFA's James Gildea Global Awards.
SSAFA is being support as Plymouth will be one of the first stops on an attempt to circumnavigate Great Britain in an electric rib – a challenge which begins this weekend.
Jean Davidson, a volunteer who wears many hats for the Northern Ireland branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity has been awarded the Sir James Gildea Global Award.
