From Hardship to Belonging: find out how SSAFA has been supporting the Armed Forces community thanks to your help!

Hear from Kirk about SSAFA's impact:

This month, we mark Armed Forces Day, a time to honour those who serve our nation at home and overseas. Your support helps them through life’s toughest moments, just like it did for Army veteran Kirk.

After leaving the Army, Kirk fell victim to a financial scam and struggled to provide for his family. Feeling isolated, his mental health declined.

Everything changed with one call to SSAFA.

SSAFA volunteer Eddie reminded Kirk he wasn’t alone, bringing food, warmth, and hope back into his life. Thanks to Eddie, Kirk had a community once more.

Today, you can be that lifeline. Please donate now and stand beside those who’ve served us and continue to serve us.

Support SSAFA

Thanks to the fantastic support we receive SSAFA is able to help people in the Armed Forces community, like Kirk and his family, every day of the year.

From the youngest recruit to the oldest veteran; frontline or support; the individual or the family: SSAFA is here for them all in their time of need.

Together we can ensure that no member of the Armed Forces community ever battles alone.

As we get ready to celebrate Armed Forces Day, please consider making a donation today, or read on to find out how else you can support the brave men and women who defend our nation.

Get Involved

Every single donation made to SSAFA is warmly and gratefully received.

But you can also support our Armed Forces in other ways:

Thank you for supporting SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.

Our mission cannot end whilst our Armed Forces are called upon to defend our shores, interests and values in an ever-changing world - making those sacrifices that allow us all to sleep safely through the night.

And it is only thanks to people like you that we can continue to give back to the Armed Forces community, and make sure that they never battle alone.

Thank you again, and wishing everyone a fantastic Armed Forces Day wherever you are!
