Event News
On Saturday 25 May SSAFA Germany Branch held their Annual General Meeting and Case Worker update training session in Paderborn. The event was well attended both remotely and in-person and the team who gathered in-person at the Hotel conference centre ended their official business by gathering together for some team socialising and traditional British cuisine, an Indian curry!
Veterans in Europe:
SSAFA, along with several other partners, were previously working alongside the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) to deliver the UK National Support Fund (UKNSF) to assist veteran UK nationals who reside in countries across Europe, including Germany. The FCDO’s UKNSF is still in operation to support those currently residing in certain countries across Europe.
However, SSAFA are no longer providing active support with residency applications, as UKNSF support has ended in the countries we were working in. If you still require support with your residency, please find out more here.
Thank you for getting in touch with SSAFA Germany. Someone should be in contact soon.

We love what we do. The sense of pride you get when you know you’ve helped someone get their independence and dignity back is extraordinary. Through volunteering for SSAFA Germany, you’ll have the chance to meet some truly inspiring people, with stories you’ll never forget. You’ll also gain new skills and experiences, but most importantly, you’ll make a difference in the lives of those who have dedicated their lives, often at great sacrifice, to protect and serve us.
