Former Sapper David reached out to SSAFA Lincolnshire after seeing a post on Facebook.
SSAFA’s Sir James Gildea Awards – named after the founder of SSAFA – were created to recognise volunteers and employees for their exceptional contribution and commitment to SSAFA’s activities and values.
The branch is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join their team and help support the local Armed Forces community.
SSAFA has helped raise over £28,000 to enable a disabled veteran to purchase a new vehicle that is compatible with his wheelchair.
