Connie Sharpe, will be making the skydive with son Cormac in memory of her late father.
For one SSAFA Wiltshire volunteer, working remotely is nothing new.
The Grimsby and Cleethorpes Division of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity received £1,000 from Phillips 66 Humber Refinery after one of its staff – Ken Weller, late of the Royal Anglian Regiment – made the nomination.
An incredible £450 was raised at the Copper Kettle Tearoom in Grainthorpe, Lincolnshire last Sunday (September 19), when owners Amanda and Mark Bennett launched the tearoom with an event in aid of SSAFA.
