An Ex-Para plans to ride from Exeter to Lands’ End on new adapted bike to raise money for SSAFA.
Gina Allsopp, a local veteran from Brighton, is getting back on her bike to raise money for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
All ages, ranks, and branches of the Armed Forces took part in a service at St Paul’s Church, Spennymoor, Co. Durham on April 2 to mark the fortieth anniversary of the onset of the Falklands Conflict.
The South West Durham Division of SSAFA has really stepped up to the plate to help veterans with a simple befriending scheme that brought some company, a bacon roll and some cake, right to their home.
