SSAFA helps Arnhem glider pilot celebrate his 100th birthday 28 November 2022 Peter Colthup, one of the last five surviving members of the Glider Pilot Regiment, has celebrated his 100th birthday at his home in Whitstable. SSAFA volunteer caseworkers recognised by High Sheriff of Gwent 24 November 2022 SSAFA caseworkers received the High Sheriff of Gwent award for “… contributing in a meaningful way to their community”. Late Queen's dress designer exhibition in Plymouth 24 November 2022 Sir Norman Hartnell, personal designer to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, will be remembered in an exclusive exhibition from the 5th to the 8th December, in Plymouth, with proceeds going to SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
