A big thank you to four members of the Falklands garrison, who took part in a virtual rowing challenge for SSAFA!
This week (12-18 June) is Loneliness Awareness Week, and SSAFA is seeking new Community Connection Champions to help us fight loneliness in the Armed Forces community.
Northallerton-born Paige recently organised a 24-hour fitness marathon at Imphal Barracks in York, to raise money for and awareness of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
On Friday 2nd June, the Rt Hon. Johnny Mercer, Minister of State for Veterans’ Affairs, joined SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, in kicking off the Armed Forces Day (24th June) celebrations in Launceston by greeting the Flag Relay.
