A member of the SSAFA staff, David Harris, has just completed an 530 mile cycle to Möhnesee dam, to raise funds for the charity.
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, is delighted to announce that Cllr Vivienne Charrett, the new Mayor of Christchurch, has named SSAFA as one of the Mayor’s two chosen charities for the 2023-24 Civic Year.
The Veterans’ Places, Pathways and People Programme has awarded SSAFA a grant of £50,000 for our work with veterans in the East of England.
James Neil ran the 52 highest tors on Dartmoor, known as the Dartmoor 500 Challenge, in under 24hrs, with no support, breaking the record for this 63 mile challenge and raising over £2,000 for SSAFA.
