SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for the Armed Forces community in their time of need.  

Since 1885 we have provided welfare and wellbeing assistance that is tailored to our Armed Forces community. 

SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person.  

Our trained teams of volunteers and employees help veterans, serving personnel (regulars/reserves) and their dependants so they Never Battle Alone.

We aim to constantly raise the bar offering a quality, bespoke service and options of support to Veterans and their families here in Wales.

Our Team prides itself in being flexible and robust, we will constantly adapt and develop to meet the ever-changing needs of the Armed Forces community.

One of our volunteers, Trevor Scott, was recently made a Member of the British Empire (MBE) for his life-long career in education and his incredible dedication to SSAFA's work in Wales.  (Read the full story here.)
