The loss of a child is a devastating experience for families, especially during pregnancy, soon afterwards, or in infancy, and so the midwives of SSAFA’s Community Health Care Team are joining with countless families to remember these children during Baby Loss Awareness Week 2021
SSAFA Southend & Rochford and The Salvation Army will be joining forces to run a new Veterans Hub in Shoeburyness opening on Wednesday 6 October.
In recognition of more than 12 years’ voluntary work with SSAFA, Auchterarder local Brian Pereira has been awarded the Sir James Gildea Global Award.
Sisters Dolly and Leila Wright – aged nine and eight respectively, but already keen fundraisers for a host of charities – will tackle a 25-kilometre (15.5 mile) trek along the Thames for SSAFA on October 30.
