The Lost Soldier finds support from local charity 23 February 2023 The Lost Soldier Project seeks to provide veterans with the tools needed to understand and cope with post-military life. SSAFA Community Health Team promotes CONI scheme 17 February 2023 Working with the Lullaby Trust, SSAFA is working with the Care Of Next Infant (CONI) programme for bereaved parents. Charity raises over £50,000 to help veteran live his best life 23 December 2022 Army Veteran Simon was left reeling when he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. SSAFA provided emotional support, and organised funding for the family to adapt to Simon's disease. From Grinch to grin: Veteran turns his life around this Christmas 12 December 2022 Army veteran Matthew was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2004. Over a number of years the illness wore him down but luckily for Matthew, an old friend, Ruth, heard how down he had become and took it upon herself to help him.
