Two local women joined forces to lay on a fundraiser in their local pub, the Corporation Arms on Freeman Street in Grimsby, in aid of SSAFA.
Under fine skies on Armed Forces Day, veterans and cadets were greeted with friendly faces and enthusiastic cheering in Liverpool.
The 23rd of June made for a glorious day at the Cambridgeshire Platinum Jubilee County Day at Newmarket Racecourse.
The Morpeth and Wansbeck Division of SSAFA is delighted at the news that the Ashington Veterans and Elders Institute (AVAEI) has received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
