A special ceremony took place this week at Cardiff’s Maindy Barracks: the planting of a pair of right royal rowan trees (Sorbus Aucuparia) to commemorate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.
As the Monarch is the head of the British Armed Forces, it is no surprise that the serving community in Upavon came together to have a jolly good knees-up to toast the newly crowned King.
The guns who took part in the clay shoot at Bisley Braidwood Selkirk organised by and in aid of the Borders branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity had a blast raising more than £6,000.
