During 20 years of deployment in Afghanistan (Op HERRICK), there were 457 deaths of UK Armed Forces personnel, with the number of fatalities peaking in 2009-2010.
It has been a tumultuous time in the world since former Paratrooper, Chris Lewis, stepped off from Llangennith Beach on August 1, 2017, to walk the UK coastline and raise much-needed money for SSAFA.
SSAFA South East Wales had a fantastic day singing with Choirs for Good in Abergavenny High Street.
Congratulations and thank yous to each of the Ironmen who raised funds for SSAFA at the Swansea event on 14 July.
