Former Army Cadet to run 100 miles for SSAFA

Ethan Irwin (from Gateshead), who served in the Army Cadet Force for five years, will be taking on the challenge to run 100 miles over the month of August to raise £1,500 for SSAFA. 

Ethan will begin his 100-mile challenge on Saturday 1^st August and aims to complete the challenge on 31^st August 2020.

He said: “I have wanted to be in the Armed Forces since I was a child. I was in the Army Cadet Force for five years.  

 SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity supports serving personnel, veterans and their families when they need it most. Whether it’s practical, financial or emotional support, the charity is there to help.

The challenge I am doing will be tough, but I’m hoping to raise as much as I can to support the Armed Forces community.”
