How to get there

The Edinburgh Marathon Festival Hub at the Dynamic Earth museum is about 1 mile from the city centre. It is located at the foot of the Royal Mile, near the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace.

Please note there is very limited parking available near Holyrood Park, and restrictions are in place. Please plan your travel and use public transport or the EMF Event Buses.

It is recommended that you park elsewhere in the city and reach the race start by public transport or foot.

The start at the Dynamic Earth museum is served by Lothian Buses services 6 and 35 and Edinburgh Bus Tours. Lothian Buses service 35 passes very close on the Canongate.

Edinburgh Trams operates services to the City Centre every 7 minutes from locations such as Edinburgh Airport, Ingliston Park and Ride and Edinburgh Gateway.
