SSAFA launches range for Christmas 2026

Children are back in school, supermarket aisles are filled with chocolates and packets of mince pies, and there is still just enough time to put the sprouts on for Christmas Lunch.

And if all that did not scream “Christmas”, then the just-launched 2026 range of festive and seasonal cards and gifts from SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity will.

Proceeds from the sales of all items from the SSAFA shop go to fund life-changing and life-saving work for serving personnel and veterans, and their families. In 2025, SSAFA helped 51,000 people, and each item bought supports the Armed Forces family of today, yesterday, and tomorrow so that whatever they may be facing, they will not face it alone.

This year’s range includes new Military Robins Christmas cards, designed exclusively for SSAFA, along with a bumper crop of gifts for anyone whose Christmas list contains a history buff, aviation enthusiast, coffee lover, or someone who simply enjoys a good decoration on the tree.

For those planning well beyond Boxing Day, there is the Official SSAFA Calendar 2027 by acclaimed artist and long-time SSAFA supporter Sherin Aminossehe, designed solely for the charity and ideal for anyone who likes to be organised before the last mince pie has disappeared. You could even plan your Christmas 2027 with it!

Also in the shop are SSAFA Op WELFARE ground coffee pouches from a veteran-run business, Forceswear clothing with dual SSAFA and Royal Navy, Army - including some regiments and corps - and Royal Air Force service branding. There are also two rather special lapel pins made using real aircraft metal from Spitfire P7350 and Lancaster PA474.

These are thoughtful gifts, conversation starters, and, in the case of the coffee, possibly essential Christmas morning kit for that all-important first brew of The Big Day.

And for the tree, there is the very cute SSAFA Armed Forces gingerbread tree decorations.  Festive, cheerful, and hopefully much less likely to be eaten than the real thing. Army, RAF, and Royal Navy - from HMS SSAFA – versions are available.
