Breakfast in Brunei is a hit

SSAFA's Brunei in-service committee looks to alleviate loneliness and isolation among families posted overseas. The committee recently began to run a Breakfast Around the World morning, the most recent of which had a French vibe.

Daniela Makin, SSAFA Brunei chair, said: “First we celebrated France with fresh coffee, tisanes, pains au chocolat and croissants. We raised more than $450 over the course of that morning alone! Next is Breakfast in Nepal, which should be wonderfully exotic.”

The events raise money in order that the committee can give grants when there is service family in difficulty, assist the local schools and run other community events to ensure life overseas is integrated and supported.
