'When The Lights Go On Again' musical

06 March 2020

Timed to be performed across the three days immediately leading up to the 75th Anniversary of VE Day, ‘When The Lights Go On Again’ (WTLGOA), will be a poignant tribute signifying true British spirit overcoming troubled times.

The musical, written by Roy Sault, is set during the days of World War II and takes audiences through the quirks, humour and tragedy of everyday life during the war, culminating in a VE Day street party.

Featuring over 30 classic songs, including “The White Cliffs of Dover”, “Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree” and “We’ll Meet Again”, WTLGOA will also incorporate authentic WWII video footage and radio announcements.

There have been many highly acclaimed, sell-out productions of WTLGOA over the years, and BOST’s upcoming production promises to be an equally memorable night out for the whole family.

BOST is proudly supporting SSAFA - the Armed Forces charity, across Merseyside and Cheshire.
