SSAFA Grampian attended the Turriff Show, Scotland's largest two-day agricultural event.
29 August 2026
SSAFA Grampian spent two days at our first Turriff Show exhibition, having a lot of fun meeting over 100 visitors from all walks of life—including veterans, their families and those interested in volunteering for SSAFA.
Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the SSAFA Grampian exhibit. We really appreciated your curiosity, your conversations and the support you showed for our Armed Forces community, as well as the support you gave our four Grampian branch volunteers manning the SSAFA stall.
In case you were wondering who they were, you would have been chatting to Zoe Morrison (Branch Chair), Graeme Morrison (Community Engagement Lead), Daniel Montgomery (Volunteer) and Tish Richford (Volunteer). And for those eagle-eyed amongst you, you may also have spotted Sandy Manson (Branch President) and a certain Caleb lookalike from Clarkson’s Farm making an appearance at our stall!
At SSAFA, we place a great deal of importance on community engagement. Whether fostering support for our Armed Forces or working with the local community to encourage more people to get involved with SSAFA, we are always happy to welcome you.
It was fantastic to meet so many of you, share what SSAFA does and hear your stories. We look forward to seeing you again at future events — and, if you’d like to find out more about SSAFA, volunteering or how we support our Armed Forces community, we’d love to hear from you.
