SSAFA invited to Edinburgh school

On 26th August the chair of the Edinburgh & Lothians branch of SSAFA Fergus Hardie visited Forrester High School in Edinburgh. He was joined by SSAFA Community Engagement Operations Manager Scott Alderman.
 
SSAFA was invited to take part in the school's charity fair for their S3 Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) project, where S3 pupils are encouraged to become philanthropists. Pupils must choose a charity, campaign and present in the hope of winning £3000 for their chosen charity. We hope that SSAFA will be chosen by some pupils!
 
The event was well attended and we seemed to make an impact and catch the interest of the pupils.
