Edinburgh & Lothians branch at Edinburgh Armed Forces Day event

The Edinburgh & Lothians branch of SSAFA were in attendance at this year's Armed Forces Day in Edinburgh on June 27th. They had a stand in St Andrew Square where the military parade arrived.

There were lots people viewing the parade and many participants from the veterans and military community. Members of the branch spoke to lots of the attendees (including people who had a personal connection to SSAFA as well as those who were new to SSAFA, the deputy Lord Provost of Edinburgh, and senior military staff), raised some funds for SSAFA and raised awareness of SSAFA activities.

It was a successful day with perfect weather and the branch members received lots of very positive feedback about what we all do as a team at SSAFA Edinburgh!
