The Mayor of Exmouth, Jeff Trail BEM, presenting a cheque for £4049 to the Devon Branch Chairman, Brigadier Andrew Pillar OBE, at this year's SSAFA Devon Branch AGM. This represent half of the monies raised by the Mayor during his tenure; the other recipient was the Royal Marines Charity.
The Mayor of Exmouth nominated 2 Charities as his Charities of the Year during his time in office; they were SSAFA Devon Branch and The Royal Marines Charity. Various fundraising events were held in, and around, Exmouth during this time including a Black Tie Dinner and Woodbury Golf Club. We understand that a good time was had by all.
