On the weekend 16-19 September 2022, forty-one County Durham veterans, widows, SSAFA volunteers, and supporters boarded the bus at Bishop Auckland FC, on a trip organised by SSAFA Durham.
The inaugural curry and quiz night – in aid of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity – at Glasgow’s famed Mr Singh’s India clearly went down a treat with more than £900 raised on the night.
We're reaching out to our Armed Forces community to let them know that we're here to help. We provide practical, financial and emotional support for service personnel, veterans and their families.
SSAFA Perth & Kinross Branch has become friends with land management experts Bell Ingram in Perth, and they kindly invited us to share a stand with them at the very well attended Perth Show on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th August.
