Perth & Kinross Branch volunteer Captain Brian "Spats" Baxter, has recently received the coveted Sir James Gildea Award.
Enough tea and coffee to float a battleship, and enough cake to sink it were consumed on Easter Saturday at the first Big Brew Up held by the South East Wales branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
After finding a historic sheaf of SSAFA recipes, a volunteer from Wiltshire Branch is starting a new recipe book, to be sold in aid of the charity.
