The Glasgow & Renfrewshire Branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity sponsored The King's Coronation and Victory in Europe parade at the Veterans Monument in Knightswood, Glasgow on May 6, 2023.
To recognise the work of volunteers and staff of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity in Scotland, a new Regional Recognition Award (RRA) was established in 2023 with the aim of acknowledging extra endeavour and inspirational dedication.
They might be some of the (cinematic) universe’s baddest baddies, but even those on the Dark Side clearly have a redeeming features, and raising funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is one of them.
Whitehead Ross Education and Consulting (WREC), an education and social welfare organisation, recently helped the Worcestershire branch of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, by raising £106 with a tombola raffle.
