Easter ‘Big Brew Up’ for SSAFA South East Wales 03 March 2023 SSAFA South East Wales is hosting a Big Brew Up on Saturday, April 8 at Tŷ Price St Thomas’ Community Hall in Monmouth, with the very seasonal theme of Easter. Poignant performances this month in Dunblane of Archie’s Issues following author’s death 02 March 2023 Forth Valley Creative Veterans in conjunction with senior pupils from Queen Victoria School, Dunblane, will stage Archie’s Issues, a play spanning some 50 years of military experiences. Motorcycling couple from Carmarthenshire on the road raising funds for SSAFA 02 March 2023 A motorcycling husband and wife from Ammanford presented a cheque for £360 to the South West Wales region of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity following the couple’s annual “Santa on a Bike” fundraiser. Famous ex-Paratrooper book signing in Plymouth 27 February 2023 Chris Lewis has been walking around the UK to raise money for SSAFA. He has written a book about his adventures, and is attending a book signing day in Plymouth on Sunday the 5th March from 11.30am.
