A Cheque of £1,000 was donated to the Mayor of Bishop Auckland’s chosen Charity: The Mayor, Councillor Joy Allen, is the patron of SSAFA Durham and presented the cheque to the Wear Valley Division of SSAFA Durham branch.
Members of 9 Platoon, Burma Company at Army Training Regiment Winchester took on a 24-hour gaming marathon for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity last week.
