A local veteran from Chippenham who took on the London Marathon to raise money for SSAFA this October is still running for the good cause.
A local man from Poole successfully completed the London Marathon on Sunday 3 October in aid of SSAFA.
Sisters Dolly and Leila Wright – aged nine and eight respectively, but already keen fundraisers for a host of charities – will tackle a 25-kilometre (15.5 mile) trek along the Thames for SSAFA on October 30.
Having not one but two knee replacements might put off some people from taking part in strenuous fundraising activities, but not Vince Stopp, who last Monday (September 20) climbed Snowdon for SSAFA.
