SSAFA Warwickshire & Coventry Branch attends Armed Forces Day events

SSAFA's Warwickshire & Coventry Branch attended two separate events to celebrate this years Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29th June.

The first event, held in sight of the ancient and famous Warwick Castle, was very well attended and included displays and demonstrations from local groups and organisations.

The second event was held in Coventry, where the City hosted a parade. Branch Fundraising Volunteer Beki Habbersley manned the SSAFA stall alongside stands with the Royal Navy and the Sea Cadets.

Both events were great opportunities to meet members of the public and raise awareness of SSAFA and what we do, raise some funds for the branch, and chat to veterans and their families, as well as those who are serving.
