Honington Serving Community Team

Supporting all British Forces and their families based at RAF Honington, in Suffolk.

The Honington SCT is dedicated to helping serving personnel and their families in the local community. The SCT volunteers are there to provide practical, emotional and financial support when and where it is needed most, along with organising events and activities to raise awareness of SSAFA, with every penny raised going back into supporting the serving community at Honington.

You can give as much or as little time as you can – the roles are designed to be flexible, as we understand many of our volunteers also have work or family commitments. Volunteering is a great way to support your local serving community, learn new skills and add to your CV, if you are looking for work. No experience is necessary, but a military connection or an understanding of the unique challenges that service personnel and their families face would be excellent.
