Kiltwalk

Join SSAFA on Scotland's most popular charity fundraising event!

Are you ready to don your tartan and take part in one of Scotland's most popular charity fundraising events?

Kiltwalks are mass-participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and projects, including SSAFA in Scotland.

Every step you make, and every pound you raise, will help SSAFA support the Armed Forces community here in Scotland at a time they need it most.

  • Every SSAFA Kiltwalker will receive a free welcome pack including your own SSAFA t-shirt!
  • Entertainment along the route and at the finish line!
  • Fully stocked pit stops with free snacks and water to keep you hydrated and energised
  • Toilets at every pit stop
  • Exclusive Kiltwalk Finishers medal
  • Complimentary hot meal at the  finish
  • Entertainment and bar facilities at the Kiltwalk village at the finish line.

Each Kiltwalk has a shorter walk of approximately 4 miles (the 'Wee Wander') and a longer route of approximately 20 miles (the 'Mighty Stride').  The Glasgow and Edinburgh events also have an intermediate route of approximately 11 miles (the 'Big Stroll').

There are unfortunately no more Kiltwalks in 2026 - but they will be sure to run in 2027.  Please check back here, or subscribe to the SSAFA monthly email newsletter, to find out next year's dates when they are confirmed.
