The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is now one of the biggest marathons in the word and perfectly combines a personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world’s greatest cities. The event will start at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, and finish with views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower to guide you home.

The Paris Marathon 2026, set for Sunday, 12 April, is more than just a race—it's a celebration of endurance, culture, and community in one of the world’s most iconic cities. With nearly 57,000 runners in the 2025 edition, the event has become one of the largest and most beloved marathons globally.

The marathon's course is a breath-taking journey through the heart of Paris. Starting on the Champs-Élysées, runners pass by legendary landmarks including Place de la Concorde, Opéra Garnier, City Hall, Bastille, Arc de Triomphe, and - for the first time - Place de la Nation.

The Paris Marathon is known for its electric atmosphere, with 40 activity zones, live music, and thousands of cheering spectators lining the streets. In 2025, 51% of participants were first-time marathoners, and 33% came from outside France, highlighting the event’s global appeal.
