Teams of 4 will trek 30 miles or 30 kilometres in February 2018, carrying 30lb on their backs around the beautiful countryside surrounding Denstone College near Uttoxeter.

Teams are divided into 3 classes: Open (for teams not in wounded or insider), Wounded (for teams with a wounded team member) or Insider (for teams with local knowledge of the area) and can be all male, all female or mixed.  We encourage applications from both military teams and civilian teams, but please note you need to be of good physical fitness and confident that you can navigate the countryside.

To take part in the 30:30 route we ask that each member of the team pays a registration fee of £50 (£200 for a team of 4) and raise a minimum £1250 excluding gift aid.

For more information please visit the Soldier 30:30 website

This year we are also offering a special 14:18 route - teams can enter to do a shorter 14 kilometers carrying 18lb bags. To take part in this routes we ask that each team member pays a registration fee of £25 (£100 for a team of 4) and raise a minimum of £550 excluding gift aid. If you would like to enter this shorter route please let us know.

This event is kindly hosted and organised by Denstone College in Uttoxeter and the Soldier 30:30 team, who can provide one night of accomodation for teams in their sports hall the night before the challenge and who will also host a fantastic dinner after the event for all entrants.
