1 Regiment RLC raise money for SSAFA

On Thursday 6 January, Tony Carr, Divisional Secretary at SSAFA North Oxfordshire, was invited to St David's Barracks in Bicester to receive a very welcome donation of £350 from SSgt Lee Faulkner, Master Chef at 1 Regiment RLC.

The money was raised at a pre-Christmas Big Brew Up organised by SSgt Faulkner and his team.

The idea for the fundraiser came from Cpl Kevin Gibson who was ably assisted by Cpl Caitlin Gray in putting the spread on, including a raffle for a hamper and a beautiful Christmas cake made by SSgt Faulkner's wife.
