SSAFA North Yorkshire flies the flag for forces and their families at Christmas fair

SSAFA made a festive appearance at the Great Yorkshire Christmas Fair on Saturday 29th November - warmly supported by members of the local North Yorkshire Branch.

A group of branch volunteers attended in their charity kit simply to enjoy the event and proudly show the community spirit behind the charity’s work for forces and their families at Christmas.

Beverley Robb, Divisional Branch Secretary for North Yorkshire said: “It was lovely to see familiar faces turning up just because they care about the cause. Sometimes support just looks like showing up, chatting to everyone and flying the flag.”
 
The cheerful show of presence highlighted the branch’s long-standing commitment to armed forces families across the region.
