  • SSAFA Merseyside awareness van

The van is owned by Tony Brougham who is one of SSAFA Merseyside's Fundraisers

Tony Brougham has been a member of SSAFA for two years, involved in fundraising mainly in the Sefton area, but lately all over Merseyside. He has his own gardening business, travelling to markets and car boot sites to sell his products.

He was of great assistance to Tom McKenzie, (fundraising co-ordinator for Sefton) due to his help at the SSAFA stand at the Southport Flower show last year, over £1700 was obtained by selling plants and donations. Most of the plants were either donated by him, or obtained at minimal cost through local growers.

He has made his van and trailer available as advertising medium and has recently been liveried with Merseyside SSAFA details and contact numbers to attract volunteers.
