SSAFA London SW Annual General Meeting 2023

On Wednesday 21st June 2023, the SSAFA London South West Branch held its Annual General Meeting at the Reserve Forces Centre in Kingston Upon Thames.

The event was attended by Branch members, current and former Branch executives as well as SSAFA staff members from Central Office and the London Regional Office. Also in attendance were representatives from other local charities whom we work closely with - Haig Housing in Morden, Community Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Services (Merton), Royal Star & Garter (Surbiton) and the Wimbledon District Nursing & Midwifery Beneficiary Society.

In his report, Rod Croucher - the Branch Chairman, reflected on the successes and challenges the Branch has faced in the last year and also used the opportunity to thank members of the Branch for their hard work, commitment, and enthusiasm in helping our beneficiaries. He ended his report by setting out the Branch’s objectives for the year ahead.

The AGM ended with the presentation of Long Service Award Certificates to three of our outstanding long-serving volunteers.
