Prince Michael of Kent Award presented to SSAFA Kent volunteer

Congratulations to our very own Margaret Wood, Divisional Secretary here at SSAFA Kent, who was last week presented with a Prince Michael of Kent Award. The award was presented by His Royal Highness during SSAFA's Annual Members' Meeting at the Victory Services Club in London, and the citation read:

'Margaret has been given this Award following 14 years delivering an exceptional and outstanding service as a champion of SSAFA, whilst holding numerous volunteer roles simultaneously.

Margaret always conducts herself in a most professional manner, whilst clearly demonstrating the SSAFA values in all that she does. Her personal efforts have significantly impacted the lives of several hundred beneficiaries in a most positive manner. '

The award is so thoroughly deserved - a heartfelt congratulations to Margaret from everyone here at SSAFA Kent.
