Branch volunteers manning the SSAFA stand

The SSAFA Inverness-shire and Western Isles branch's Fundraising Coordinator, Beverley Cartwright, along with other volunteers from the branch, braved wind and cold to run a SSAFA stand this week at the Simpsons Garden Centre in Inverness.

They enagaged with many of the the christmas shoppers at the Centre, discussed SSAFA activities in the Inverness area and had some lovely feedback about how much SSAFA has helped people.

A christmas hamper was won by Mr and Mrs Clarke of Inverness and the volunteers were also able to receive over £140 in donations on the day at the stand.
