Big Brew Up Success 2025!
05 May 2025
It's amazing what a brew can do!
The Big Brew Up is a community fundraising event for local veterans and their families to spend time together while supporting SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. The branch transformed Gordon Barracks into conversational spaces with each table featuring an iconic SSAFA Grampian mug, cakes and pastries. The £5 entry fee enabled guests to indulge in unlimited tea/coffee and full access to the confectionary while donating to their local branch. Those in attendance had the opportunity to meet branch members and hear more about the charity.
The fundraising raffle was hugely popular due to the array of amazing prizes donated by local businesses. The branch extends its gratitude to each and every contribution:
- FastLane Indoor Raceways for donating their Gold Star Package.
- Costco for both attending & assisting with our Teddy Bear raffle and donating a brand-new air fryer.
- Dobbies for donating 2x Afternoon Tea for Two vouchers.
- Miller & Carter Aberdeen for donating 2x £25 gift vouchers.
- BrewDog for donating 2x gift vouchers.
- Innoflate Aberdeen for donating 2x gift vouchers.
- Skyline Trampoline Park for donating gift vouchers.
- Grub Fresh Food for donating 10x lunch vouchers.
- lovepiercingsstudio for donating gift vouchers.
