Event News

The 2025 AGM provided a fantastic opportunity for all branch volunteers to meet personally and virtually. Beautiful spring weather awaited the team there. The volunteers took part in training supplied virtually from Central Office, receive information about changes within the SSAFA organisation from the UK Representative and enjoy some time to come together as a team. As volunteers are all based in different areas of Germany, it was good to hear about the work carried out by the whole branch and celebrate achievements from the last year. A wonderful traditional meal at the lively Paderborner Brauhaus on Saturday evening in the town gave everyone a chance to catch up outside of the meeting room.

Veterans in Europe:

Germany Branch has a small number of dedicated Casework Volunteers across the country to assist veterans in their time of need. Assistance is provided to relieve suffering and distress amongst veterans and their families and we are committed to being there for them and their families whenever or wherever they need us.

We are always looking for new volunteers.
