SSAFA France holds AGM in Castillones, Bergerac

SSAFA France recently held it's AGM, along with training for all caseworkers - the first since covid! It was in Castillones, Bergerac, and as you can see from the photos, a truly beautiful town. We'd like to thank the Mairie for supporting us.

Luckily, the weather was wonderful making it easy to mingle both outside and in the shade of the beautiful hall. Caseworkers, Visitors and Committee members from all over France were able to meet (some for the first time), share experiences and spend a day with the Corporate and Training team from SSAFA UK.

A gala dinner was held where a cheque for the incredible amount of over 1000 euro was presented to the Chairman Keith Cima, from Claire la Roche, Aquitaine Armed Forces Breakfast Club. Their support is very much appreciated, and we are able to share the presence of SSAFA France via their clubs.

Keith Cima, SSAFA France Chair, and Liz Price, SSAFA's Director of Strategy, addressed the branch, and we forged new relationships with other support charities and their representatives here, whilst reinforcing established friendships with those that we already work with.

We would like to thank those that supported the raffle, in particular donors France Motorhome Rentals and Bacon by the Box, for their very generous donations.
