Trusts and Foundations

Collaborative partnerships between SSAFA and other charitable organisations.

Our partners allow us to reach vulnerable veterans, service men and women and their families to help them transform their lives.

We are fortunate to benefit from the generous support of a number of key partners, and would especially welcome priority financial help for our critical front-line services, ensuring immediate assistance is given to those impacted by COVID-19.

Without our partners, the effective reach of our programmes and services would be severely diminished. By working together, we reach many more people and provide more effective interventions in the Armed Forces community than would otherwise be possible.

You can read our news articles about our grants and charitable partnerships here.

We also work in partnership with Trusts and Foundations who are new to SSAFA, to explore the ways in which we can help supporters to meet their charitable objectives, including responding to the current COVID-19 crisis.

If you would like to learn more about a specific project please contact our Trusts team on philanthropy@ssafa.org.uk.

My caseworker sourced funding from ABF The Soldiers' Charity, Help for Heroes, The Mercian Regiment Benevolent Charity, Lloyd's Patriotic Fund, The Royal British Legion and SSAFA itself, for essentials I needed to make my house a home.
