Unfortunately SSAFA London Marathon charity places have now sold out.  If you have your own place you can join Team SSAFA here.

Join SSAFA for the TCS London Marathon 2024 and take on the challenge of the world's most famous marathon! Run a great course, and for a great cause, and take in many of London’s most iconic landmarks, and be part of the largest annual fundraising event in the world!

Our wonderful London Marathon team raise over £200,000 every year to support our Armed Forces and their families - and we want you to be part of it. We want to make sure our runners have the best London Marathon experience possible.

Registration fee: £100

Fundraising Target: £2,500

When you join our team you will receive:

  • The opportunity to join a training day organised by a professional running coach.
  • Access to training and coaching through our dedicated London Marathon Facebook group.
  • The loudest cheer squads on the course that your friends and family can join
  • A fantastic post-marathon reception for all your friends and family with food and sports massage therapists.
  • And of course, a personalised SSAFA running vest plus T shirts for all of your supporters on the day.

The London Marathon is one of our most anticipated events and every year we have thousands of applications for the few places assigned to SSAFA.

Event Volunteering

The London Marathon is always a big day for SSAFA - we love to go out in strength, supporting our runners and representing the charity to the packed streets.

We would love to hear from anyone who would be able to spend a few hours helping us out on the day. Maybe you have signed up to take part in the marathon and have a relative or friend who’d like to come along. Or perhaps you or someone you know just loves the friendly atmosphere on Marathon day and wants to come and support SSAFA's work!

If this sounds like you or someone you know, you can find out more here.
