The Kelpies Experience is the first ever guided aerial exploration of the world largest equine sculptures.
Embark on an exhilarating climb to the horses mouth via a network of cables, ladders and suspended platforms. Then, feel the thrill as you descend with a free-hanging abseil or the breath-taking Quick Flight rope drop! Ascend these iconic sculptures and uncover the history and stories behind this magnificent artwork.
Climb, weave, and conquer an intricate maze of ladders, free hanging platforms, nets and cable crossings to reach the horses mouth. Then descend with an abseil or take the ultimate leap with the Quick Flight—an exhilarating free fall experience that will leave you breathless.
- Suitable for families, schools and all groups of children (minimum age 10 years, under 17s must be accompanied by an adult)
- 90 minutes of climbing and clambering up one of Scotland's iconic landmarks.
- A team of SSAFA volunteers will be there on the day to cheer you on, take photos and let you know more about the great work you will be fundraising for.
- The nearby Helix Park and Falkirk Wheel means there is more for you to explore on your day out.
Our expert guides will reveal the rich history of the canals, the vital role of the Clydesdale Horse, and the vision of world-renowned sculptor Andy Scott. Each Kelpie is a stunning feat of engineering, weighing 300 tonnes—the same as 300 Clydesdale Horses—and built from over 18,000 components.
Safety is paramount, and all participants will be securely connected to a safety cable at all times. The climb and descent will take 90 minutes in total, with professional guides helping you every step, and abseil, along the way.
