For over 20 years SSAF has run a Prison-In-Reach Service in which specially trained volunteers have been supporting veterans as well as their families. The service has been an intrinsic part of the mission to relieve need, suffering and distress of veterans and their families to support their independence and dignity. At the heart of everything we do is the veteran and their family. By establishing a well-resourced, responsive service, SSAFA is committed to providing seamless support and collaboration for those veterans in prison. This will ensure that our beneficiaries receive timely and effective support during this difficult time.
