Sleep Well

Suicide prevention outreach service for veterans in Glasgow.

Sleep Well is a suicide prevention outreach service for veterans in Glasgow.  It’s here to help those who are struggling and may not feel ready to ask for help.

We go out into the community and meet veterans in places where support is most needed.  These include:

  • Scottish Veterans Residences (every two weeks)
  • Erskine Veterans Village (every week)
  • Glasgow City Council’s Homeless Team (every week)
  • HM Prison Barlinnie (once a month)

We also support veterans who are sleeping rough or not linked in with any services.

Sleep Well gives 1-to-1 support based on each person’s needs. This can include help with:

  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Finding safe housing
  • Getting a job or training
  • Money and benefits

Our aim is to make sure no veteran is left behind. We want every veteran to feel supported and know there’s someone on their side.
